Friends of the Library

The Friends of the Berlin Public Library was organized in 1967. Membership is open to everyone interested in supporting and promoting the Berlin Public Library. Fees are minimal.

Membership is available at any time and may be renewed annually.

The Friends lend financial support to a variety of programs, including:

  • the Summer Reading Program performers, and reading incentives
  • the On-site Senior Project -- provides wide variety of library materials to those living in senior housing
  • library materials
  • volunteers for various projects from mending to data entry
