Qigong at the Library

Qigong originated in China over 4,000 years ago. It is a simple practice that can be done by anyone, regardless of age or physical ability. Millions of people around the world practice Qigong daily to help themselves heal and stay healthy.

Qigong’s underlying belief is that everything in the universe is energy or Qi. Due to injury, poor nutrition, stress, taking the wrong medication, or things in our environment we get blockages in our energy system. When you remove the blockage and restore the flow of Qi, the problems will be resolved. The smooth, continuous, harmonious flow of Qi is necessary for optimal health and wellness.

Come and learn how you can reduce pain, lower blood pressure and blood sugar and sleep better at night.

Dress comfortably. The practice can be done standing or sitting. We will not get down on the floor. No prior qigong experience is necessary.

Please stop in or call the library to register for this free class.
